Every ACES tier is earned by demonstrating proficiency through the AccelaStudy engine. The engine uses adaptive questioning, spaced repetition, and anti-gaming measures to ensure that a candidate's score reflects genuine understanding — not memorization, cramming, or bot usage. Scores are measured across multiple sessions over time.
Study any domain on an AccelaStudy product (Certs, Test Prep, AP, etc.). As you answer questions, your ELO rating in that domain rises. Once you reach 1300+ ELO — which corresponds to roughly 65% verified proficiency across the domain's knowledge graph — you earn Expert status and become visible to recruiters in ACES.
No. Recruiters see your current tier and proficiency distribution per domain. They do not see individual questions, answers, study sessions, or mistakes. Your learning journey is private; only the outcome is visible.
The AccelaStudy engine uses four layers of anti-gaming: (1) response time analysis to detect answer-lookup patterns, (2) oral explanation coherence checks, (3) cross-session correlation to detect cramming artifacts, and (4) behavioral fingerprinting to identify bot usage. These measures run continuously and invisibly.
Yes. Your profile is only visible to recruiters if you reach Expert tier and opt in to the ACES marketplace. You can opt out at any time, which removes your profile from recruiter searches. We never sell personal data to third parties.
