Renkara Media Group, Inc. ("Renkara," "we," "us," or "our") operates the AccelaStudy ACES marketplace at aces.accelastudy.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use ACES as a candidate or recruiter.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Candidate Information

• Account data: Name, email address, and profile information you provide during registration.
• Proficiency data: ELO ratings, tier levels, and per-domain proficiency scores generated by the AccelaStudy engine during your study sessions.
• Study behavior: Response times, session duration, and interaction patterns used for anti-gaming analysis. This data is processed algorithmically and is not reviewed by humans.

2.2 Recruiter Information

• Account data: Name, email, company, job title, and billing information.
• Search and shortlist data: Search queries, candidate views, and shortlist contents.

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

• Device and browser information, IP address, and usage analytics via cookies and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To generate and display verified proficiency profiles for candidates who opt in to the ACES marketplace.
• To enable recruiters to search, filter, and compare candidate profiles.
• To detect and prevent gaming, fraud, and misuse of the platform.
• To process payments for recruiter subscriptions.
• To communicate product updates, security alerts, and support messages.
• To improve our algorithms, content quality, and user experience.

4. Candidate Visibility and Opt-In

Your ACES profile is only visible to recruiters if you explicitly opt in to the marketplace AND have reached the Expert tier (ELO 1300+) in at least one domain. You may opt out at any time, which immediately removes your profile from all recruiter search results.

Recruiters see your name, tier levels, ELO ratings, and proficiency distributions per domain. Recruiters do not see individual questions, answers, study session details, or learning history.

5. Data Sharing

• We share candidate profile data with recruiters who have an active ACES account, subject to the candidate's opt-in status.
• We do not sell personal data to third parties.
• We may share data with service providers who assist in operating the platform (payment processing, hosting, analytics), subject to contractual data protection obligations.
• We may disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and proficiency data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your profile from recruiter searches within 24 hours and delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encryption at rest (AES-256), and access controls to protect your data. Proficiency data is stored separately from personally identifiable information.

8. Your Rights

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and optional analytics cookies to improve the platform. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

10. Children's Privacy

ACES is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
